is a conservation biologist affiliated with the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute. She’s the board president of Community Conservation, Inc. and has worked internationally on issues of communities and biodiversity conservation for nearly 30 years.
